Well, that new toy gave me an afternoon of peace. Cheaper than a babysitter, faster that an afternoon at the pool trying to tire them out in hopes of maybe an hour or two of peace later. Hence, the magical, peaceful moment came from the toy. That new toy, the one they each picked, kept each child entertained for the entire day.
